Secondary NAPLAN
Students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 at all schools are required to take four separate tests over three days in March.
These tests are administered by the teachers and principal, typically held in a hall or large classroom.
While NAPLAN provides insight into each student’s progress, its primary purpose is to compare a school’s average performance with the national average. The results are used for educational planning and to identify which schools, programs, or skills require prioritization and closer evaluation.
